Pink Salt Scrub Bar

Salt in a soap bar you ask? Why?

– Salt bars have a gentle exfoliation to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth.
– They are formulated specially to have a higher oil content so your skin doesn’t feel dry after using them.
– The help to cleanse the skin without stripping it of natural oils.
– They have a beautiful creamy lather that make your bathing experience a little like a spa retreat.
– And they are packed full of natural minerals for the skin.

So, what is not to love!! Our salt bars are a little crumbly as I left them too long before cutting. This won’t affect the use, just how pretty they are. As my Mum says, it adds character!

Scent note: Mild. Gently scented with essential oils of grapefruit, rosemary and litsea cubea.

The Insta-worthy Soap Bar

If you're looking for a soap bar to pimp your bath caddy, look no further. This soap looks and smells amazing and the gentle exfoliation coupled with the rich oils for moisturisation makes it perfect to use for long self care soaks in the bath

How is our soap made?

Our soap bars are made in small batches, by hand here in Brisbane. We use a technique called cold process soaping. This is the result of a delicate chemical reaction that occurs between oils, butters and lye. The soap heats naturally to neutralise the lye so none remains in the final bar.  The soap then needs to cure for about 6 weeks. This process, although longer, is more gentle and preserves the natural properties of the ingredients and essential oils.

Will using a soap bar spread germs?

Using a soap bar is clean and hygienic and when used properly does not store any germs. A good handwash involves you using warm water with a minimum of a 30 second scrub all over your hands. When you rinse away the soap, the dirt and grime will also wash away. If you are unsure how long, just sing ‘Happy Birthday’! #nursestricks

How should I look after my soap?

Your soap will store better and last longer if it is allowed to dry out thoroughly between uses. We recommend using a soap dish with enough space to circulate the bar and in the shower a wire rack away from the water.

Which bar of soap should I choose?

It can be overwhelming and some of our soap bars do serve a different purpose. Head over to our Soap Cheat Sheet to see a summary of our soap bars and decide which is right for you. Click here to see the guide.
